Happy New Year! The holidays
seem like a distant memory, don't they? It's been an eventful January, and at
B.R.A.K.E.S. we're already in full swing, having started the year off with the
successful debut of a new school location, in Scottsdale, Arizona. We're
starting February with another new location, Charleston, South Carolina, and
those classes are already at capacity. The Charleston school honors Tripp
Rabon, a teen who was tragically killed in car crash due to hazardous road
conditions on SR64 in Colleton County. Learn
more about how you can support Tripp's family and their petition to pass
TRIPP's Law.
In between schools, I'll be
traveling a great deal during the first quarter of the year, talking to various
groups about teen driving safety and B.R.A.K.E.S. — and I'll have the honor of
accepting a few awards along the way. Be sure to view the full schedule below!
Last year was amazing, and
we're looking forward to continued growth in 2017. Please accept my sincere
thanks for your support and passion for the B.R.A.K.E.S. program. You continue
to help me honor my sons, Jon and James, and keep their memory alive.
Many blessings to you and
your family in 2017!

In an ever-evolving
landscape of technology it's often hard to keep up with all the tools at our
disposal to combat the dangers of distracted driving. Our partners and friends
at DMV.org have done extensive research and
put together a handy dandy chart of some top-rated safe driving apps. Each app
below is free to download and is designed to help your child stay focused and safe behind the wheel. By setting one up for your
teen, you can be in the car with them
- even when they're out on their own.
